Consulting – by Project or Retainer

Having worked in the mold remediation industry for more than a decade, you can trust our team’s professional opinion on the subject. We specialize in consulting for large losses and complicated projects throughout the state of Texas and nationwide.

Project Management

Our team is capable of facilitating and managing commercial or residential mold mitigation projects of any size, small or large. We offer our services by task, project, and retainer-extended consulting agreement.

Indoor Air Quality

Our team is capable of measuring various factors that determine the air quality of your home or business. These include the Air Quality Index, Particle Counts, CO2, HCHO, TVOC, temperature, and humidity.  If the basic measurements determine an issue, we can conduct more involved laboratory sampling or further evaluation. Optionally, with the IAQ service, we can add airborne mold sampling that includes an independent lab report.  Additionally, we are capable of conducting visible HVAC inspections for possible surface contamination on supply and cold air return vents, and other components of the system.

Mold - Sampling/Testing

Includes either air or direct surface sampling or a combination, with a lab report provided from an accredited, licensed laboratory. This is not a mold inspection and does not include an assessment report or detailed interpretation.  We are available to offer limited opinion on the lab result. For a more involved inspection, we can conduct a Mold Assessment.

Mold Assessment

Mold assessment is an inspection of a building to evaluate whether mold growth is present and to what extent. Samples may be taken to determine the amount and types of mold that are present. An initial assessment includes observations made, measurements taken, and locations and analysis results of samples taken during the assessment.

Mold Remediation Protocol

The protocol is a project specific detailed set of instruction for a mold remediation contractor to follow through the remediation process.  According to the mold rules and regulations in the state of Texas, if a licensed remediation contractor is hired, regardless of the size of the area affected by mold contamination, we must follow the TMARR. This includes developing a work plan which follows a protocol developed by a licensed Mold Assessment Consultant.

Post Remediation Assessment

This is a clearance inspection to ensure that the work area is free from all visible mold and the project was completed in compliance with the remediation protocol and work plan.

Upon completion of successful remediation, a TDLR/TDI Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR) will be issued.
